How to Order
PacificDisc attempts to make doing business with us as painless as possible. By being upfront and honest across the board, you'll quickly enjoy our "no BS" mentality. You'll notice that we don't have things like "setup fee" or "subject to overages" written anywhere on our site - meaning you can actually research your project online without having to hunt all over to get answers to simple questions.
When you do contact us, you'll speak to one of our non-commission based sales representatives and stick with that single point of contact throughout the entire replication or duplication process.
- Once you have decided on which product you want to order, simply or call us on and ask for a quote. If you have questions about packaging or what you need to send us - shout, we're here to help you!
- When we receive your call or email, we will immediately send you a binding, upfront quote that will never change, so you know there's no surprises later on with hidden setup fees, or overages.
- If the quote email looks good and you wish to proceed with placing an order, simply reply to the email with the following information:
- Your full contact information (name, address, email address, telephone numbers etc).
- The name of the project, the desired quantity and type of discs you wish to order (if different from the original quote).
- The shipping information for when the discs are done. Please specify any special instructions, like multiple ship-to addresses and any deadlines we need to be aware of (tradeshows, film festivals events etc).
- If you are looking for Audio CD replication, we'll need the tracklist - which shows title and duration of each track, plus the desired blank period between tracks. (A .txt file will be fine)
- Armed with this information, we will email two PDF documents for signing. These documents are the formal quote, which tells us what we're building for you (so obviously check it thoroughly) and an Intellectual Property Rights Form, which we are required to keep on file ahead of any replication project.
- Worried about the fine print in the quote? Read it here now.
- You then review the documents and if all looks good, sign and send to your sales representative.
- With the paperwork taken care of, you send us your master(s) and artwork files on a CD-R and we're off to the races. In some cases, it might make sense for you to upload your content and artwork assets to our ftp server, so speak with your rep for more details.
When we have your signed quote, completed IPR form, your master and your artwork assets, we'll begin your project.
For more details on how the entire process unfolds, please look at our replication timing page.
Please note that we would prefer full-resolution, layered artwork files, rather then flattened and compressed files. More info on artwork can be found here
Masters and paperwork should be sent to the address contained in the email, as we have different locations across the country.

"Hey, mistakes happen", but take a look at the following testimonial from a client who had a problem....
"We placed a small order for 1000 fully packaged DVD5s with PacificDisc in February 2008. When they arrived a couple of weeks later, the printed covers looked superb, better than we hoped. But upon opening a few, we realized that our 2-panel insert was missing from inside!! We called straight away and reported the error - we weren't happy to say the least, as we had a premiere event already booked. PacificDisc had the 1000 discs picked up the next day, opened up each case, inserted the insert correctly, re-wrapped and had them back to us 2-days later."
"Hey mistakes happen, but when a company takes responsibility and pays for pickup, rework and re-delivery (which must have cost hundreds in shipping alone) it demonstrates just how committed to their customers they are. Thanks PacificDisc - you guys are great and we'll be back for more soon". Aimee Kennedy ~ Producer "Banister's Return"
