What do these symbols mean?

Throughout the PacificDisc website you will see links to various templates for the numerous packaging options we provide. You will see these at the bottom of each pricing page, where the templates are relevent to the products listed on that pricing page. Below is an explanation of what each type of template.

photoshopThis symbol means an Adobe PhotoShop template with a *.psd extension after the filename is available. Download this template type if you plan to create your artwork inside PhotoShop and save as a layered .psd file. While PhotoShop is capable of producing high-quality artwork, the resulting files can be enormous.

adobe illustratorThis symbol means an Adobe Image or Postscript template with either a .ai or .eps extension after the filename is available. Download this template if you plan to use Adobe Illustator, Adobe InDesign, Quark or CorelDraw to design your artwork files. These are vector files that have been rasterized and are widely used in print.

adobe acrobat readerThis symbol means a PDF template with a .pdf extension is available. PDFs are widely used by many applications and can often work when the other two main template types cannot be opened. PDF files are produced by Adobe Acrobat and read using Acrobat Reader. PDFs are often used to provide artwork files, but ensure you work at least at 150dpi or you run the risk of low-quality print.

zip fileThis symbol means that there is an archive file available for download. Because it may contain many pages of a document, we have compressed these files to ensure fast downloads.
