DVD Duplication & CD Duplication
Sometimes you just need a handful of discs (less than 1000) when a full replication run isn't required, or you have a tight deadline. You still need gorgeous looking discs to put your best foot forward so PacificDisc offers short-run DVD duplication or CD duplication - a less expensive way to send out samples of your film or album, or for film festival submissions, demos, press or promo copies.
We provide a high-quality CD-R or DVD-R copy of your project, with either full-color or black on silver printed faces (no sticky labels), packaged inside a wide range of cases, sleeves, wallets or in bulk on spindles. We even do 11" x 17" posters for all your promo needs.

Should I duplicate or replicate?
This really depends on your particular project and the timeframe you are working with. Duplication is ideal for short-run projects up to 1000 units or for those that require a fast turnaround - choose between 5-day & 2-day turnarounds above.
Replication is more cost-effective for longer-run projects due to the set-up costs involved and minimum quantities. CD replication or DVD replication projects require longer lead times - typically 10-days. From a quality perspective, there is no difference between the data stored on a duplicated or replicated disc. Some DVD-Rs may not play on older DVD players, however, DVD-R compatibility rates are generally 95% or better.

Short-Run Artwork Requirements
- Resolution: All artwork files should be set to 300 dpi, with a maximum image size 3400 x 2300 pixels
- Templates: Before you upload your completed designs, turn off the blue mask layers and guidelines from the PhotoShop templates. Failure to do so will cause delay, as we'll need you to rework the files again
- Color Mode: Images must be saved in RGB mode. We cannot accept CMYK images.
- File Formats: Currently we support .bmp or .jpeg files. For Black Only discs, with Silver Effect we recommend .bmp to ensure the best results. No other formats are supported.
- Black Only Discs: Use black only art, turn off anti-aliasing and save as .bmp files. .jpeg files may produce low-quality results and should be avoided for black only discs. Grayscale or Color artwork should not be used either. If your design includes large solid areas of black, you will be charged for full color discs.
